in art, and practice color words and counting with flowers.
Our letter of the week is Yy.
Our color this month is yellow.
Our shape is the oval.
Our number focus is on 17 and 18.

Gift Basket/Donations

Jake's condition is continuing to improve. He is off the feeding tube and eating on his own. His dad, Leonard, reports that his appetite is really good! We knew that Jake was a strong, brave little boy - we just didn't know how strong.

We are continuing to compile things for a gift basket for Jake. If you'd like to donate something for the basket or make a monetary donation to the family, please see a staff member. Brandi spoke with Jake's family this morning and they are very grateful for the support of Jake's school family during this difficult time.

Update on Jake

Jake is still in serious condition at Tampa General but his prognosis for recovery is positive. Those who would like to help are asked to make a donation at any Wachovia bank location. The account number to reference for deposits is 101031358023.

We'd like to send Jake and his family a care package from the school as well. If you'd like to donate to that please see Brandi or another staff member.

We love you, Jake. We know that you are a strong little guy and you have all of our prayers and thoughts on you and your recovery.

Jake

Our thoughts and prayers are with Jake and his family. Jake was hit by an ATV on Monday evening. He is currently listed in serious condition. Your little people are our little people and each and every teacher and student here is deeply effected by this tragedy. We will keep you updated on Jake's condition as we know more.
