We finished up our unit on teeth and made giant sponge-painted toothbrushes. Check out the display in our classroom and see what we've learned! Our letter focus for the week was Uu. We made umbrellas using a straw painting technique. In Ms. Pat's music class we are continuing our trip around the world. The children "visited" Africa, coloring flags, making and playing their own rain sticks, and learning several new dances and songs.
The Week Ahead:
This week we celebrate Read Across America and the birthday of Dr. Seuss. Parents/grandparents are encouraged to sign up to come in and read to the class this week. You may bring something to read or we'll give you a book to read. If you'd like, you may wish to donate the book that you read to our class library for the children to enjoy.
